This page is part of the Tangma Craftsman Automotive Upgrade Knowledge Center and is designed to help buyers understand fitment, installation risk, material choices, and product selection before placing an order or requesting a fitment check.
What This Guide Will Cover
- Fitment factors buyers should confirm first
- Common compatibility and installation questions
- Material, function, and finish considerations
- Common mistakes to avoid before purchase
- Related product categories and future detailed guides
Buyer Checklist
- Confirm vehicle year, model, trim, and market version.
- Compare original part photos, connectors, brackets, and mounting points where relevant.
- Confirm installation difficulty and whether coding, calibration, painting, or professional fitting is required.
- Ask for a fitment check before ordering if any detail is uncertain.
Detailed cluster articles for this pillar will be published in the next content batch.

Headlight Upgrade Guides
Use these guides to evaluate LED, laser, adaptive and matrix headlight upgrades before ordering or installation. Check vehicle fitment, modules, coding requirements, beam pattern, market specification and installation evidence before confirming compatibility.
- LED vs Laser Headlights — Compare brightness, modules, coding and real-world fitment considerations.
- Headlight Coding & CANBUS — Understand coding, modules, warning messages and compatibility checks.
- Adaptive Headlights & AFS — Review AFS, matrix functions, leveling and retrofit risks.
- Matrix Headlight Retrofit — Check camera support, modules, coding and legal-use considerations.
- LHD vs RHD Headlights — Understand beam pattern, glare and import-market compatibility.
- Headlight Condensation — Learn how vents, seals, moisture and warranty evidence should be evaluated.
- Headlight Installation Evidence — Verify beam cutoff, connectors, DRL operation and warning checks after installation.
- Headlight Error Diagnosis — Diagnose CANBUS, AFS, module and wiring-related faults.
Compatibility and Installation Checks
Headlight compatibility can depend on vehicle year, trim, original lighting system, connector type, control modules and market specification. Adaptive functions such as AFS, matrix lighting, DRL behavior and automatic leveling may require compatible hardware, coding or calibration. LHD and RHD vehicles can also use different beam patterns, so market specification should be confirmed before installation.
After installation, verify low beam and high beam operation, DRL and turn-signal behavior, beam cutoff and aiming, dashboard warnings, moisture sealing and any required coding or calibration. Keep installation photos and diagnostic evidence if technical support or warranty review is required.
